Wife, Mom, Entrepreneur and Online Content Creator
MJ is a wife, mom, entrepreneur and online content creator. Born in the UK to Jamaican parents, MJ spent the early part of her life in Jamaica before migrating to the States. She was raised in Flatbush Brooklyn, NY which is a thriving community known as a melting pot for people from all over the Caribbean. Raised by the official cook of the family, MJ started cooking at a young child. Along with her mom, they have a small spice and seasoning business. She holds a Master’s Degree in Communication & Information Management along with one of two undergrad degrees in Hospitality with a concentration in Culinary Arts & Wine and Beverage Management. MJ grows an organic edible garden which she hopes to expand into a community learning garden in the future.
