Kristy Morris is a solution-focused digital tourism marketing enthusiast from The Bahamas with industry experience obtained throughout the Caribbean and Canada. In her current role as Digital Media Coordinator at The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation, Kristy coordinates and assists with the management of The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation’s online properties used to promote the destination globally. These include Bahamas.com., TourismToday.com, BahamasGeoTourism.com, BahamasFilm.com, and CaciqueAwards.com. 

She has been instrumental in the planning and execution of press conferences as well as creating and managing social media strategic plans including budgets to promote the CTO’s major events in several Caribbean countries and the United States. These events include the State of the Tourism Industry Conference, Caribbean Week New York, CTO’s Human Resources Conference, and the CTO’s Climate Smart Sustainable Tourism Forum. 

She is currently based in Nassau, Bahamas, and has a Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality & Tourism with a Minor in Professional Communications from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, and a Master of Science in Tourism Marketing from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados. 

When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, other family members, and friends.
