Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown is known for her trail-blazing work in the Caribbean podcast community. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica and migrating to the U.S. as a teen, Kerry-Ann spent years in corporate America before becoming an entrepreneur. Along with hosting her own podcast, Carry on Friends The Caribbean American Podcast, for more than 5 years, she is leading the way for Caribbean Podcasts with her company Breadfruit Media, the first Caribbean podcast production company, and with her Caribbean Podcast Directory—a repository of podcasts by people of Caribbean Heritage.
She has been a speaker at Podcast Movement, Afros & Audio, Haiti Tech Summit, Caribbean Digital Divas, Africa Future Summit and various career, entrepreneurship, podcast, and Caribbean culture panels, becoming the go-to person in the Caribbean American community for the development of the podcast medium.
